Tag Gutters

I have Gutters and am able to schedule them. But there doesn't seem to be a tag. I found a workaround with material tags, but that itsn't really great as that doesn't necessarily reflect the values of the actual gutter, but the values of the material. This workaround also requires manually assigning a new material to the gutter. For example i can show the "description" or Mark of the material, but then I have to make sure this value (i.e. G-1) is the same in the actual gutter family.

Another workaround (I couldn't replicate) seems to use keynotes, again, doesn't seem a good way.

Is there a good way to tag gutters? It looks like Revit "forgot" them in the tagging department, or am I missing something?

Revit Version: R2026.2

There is not Tag for Gutters and I think the best alternative solution is what you mentioned earlier in your post.

At this point I suggest you to send a wishlist case to the development team (more wishlist cases are logged more priorities will get to be developed)

See link below to log one

It is 2021 now and there are still no tags for gutters.

2022 Still no tag for gutters.

Autodesk has forgotten that Revit is an Architectural tool for modelling buildings and is too concerned with fancy new features and online services to be bothered with essential and basic functionality.

This is one more example of basic Revit functionality (among thousand other examples) that has been ignored by Autodesk, for years. It’s typical: “Customers ask and Autodesk ignores”.

That is so typical, that I am always surprised when I see so many people, every single day, asking several “simple” things from Autodesk, to improve Revit functionality and their work life…

Does anyone really think that Autodesk cares about anything, beyond company profits and their stock price ?

Ok, barthbradley and ToanDN, you are right.
I was not aware that this specific old request has been implemented in Revit 2023. It's good to know that.
However, my previous comment about Autodesk was meant to be of a more generic type and is still valid concerning some thousands of other similar users requests.

This one and many others. Autodesk has made an effort to respond to these requests and in one case has changed basic functionality (demolition) to please some that say the original functionality was "broken". Now, there are many people complaining about the "fixed" functionality.
