Symbolic lines disappearing when changing visibility settings

Hi all,

I'm making a lab equipment family with linked dwg as symbolic linework.

I'm trying to set the linework to be visible in medium & fine and hidden in coarse. However when I change the family element visibility settings, the symbolic dwg disappears completely even though I have it set to show in medium & fine detail levels. This is true in the model as well as the family editor.

Possibly relevant note -- this is in the front/back workplane. I have another dwg linked in the plan and set to show only in medium & fine detail levels, and it is working as expected.

What are the Visibility Settings of the CAD Import itself?

What do you mean? Screenshot above is from selecting the dwg then selecting Visibility/Graphics overrides in the properties.

Are you sure about that? Looks like the Visibility Settings for a Symbolic Line.  I thought the CAD Import was not displaying in certain Detail Levels. Maybe I misunderstood.

I imported the dwg with "current view only" checked to make it behave as symbolic lines.

Same here.  Import the DWG in a detail family and nest it in your model family then it will behave properly.
