Symbolic Lines Available

I have created a family that I would like to work similarly to my casework, and uses the same symbolic line menu.  But the  generic family does not come with the same symbolic lines in the drop down menu, specifically the "Plan Rep - Above (Cut)"  Is there a way to add symbolic line types to a family?

Recategorize the Family.  That work for you? Or no?

....you can add subcategories to any family, if that's what you are asking.  Under Object Styles.

Thanks

The re categorizing worked and I have all the same drop downs for the model and symbolic lines.  But I would guess that now my visibility overrides will turn on and off my new family as is does the casework.  It would be nice to be able to add the line classifications individually as families are created.

I will be looking at the other links that you have provided to see what magic they hold!

Thanks again.
