Switch area schedule from net to gross?

I created an schedule using the Rentable area scheme, but I would like to use this schedule to list areas under the Gross Building scheme. Will I need to recreate my schedule, or is there a way to point this schedule to the other scheme?

I'm in Revit 2023

No.  All Area Schemes and subsequently, Area plans, Area boundaries, Areas, and Area Schedules are completely independent from one another.
