Time consuming. Would be easier to say that 50 drawings should swap from legend A to B than to manually delete and replace all of them.
You can duplicate the legend and edit original to new legend with same position.
I guess that only works if you need to replace all of them, if you need to place a legend on several sheets you could use pyrevit plugin - copy to sheets function to copy a legend to selected sheets.
Edit: Don't think it has a delete function though, so easiest thing might be to delete the original legend itself and use above to re-place it with new ones A/B on selected sheets.
not sure off the top of my head if there is a way to create a schedule that would show what legends are on what sheets so you can be more selective on the Delete part.

@Marcus.Isacsson, Two options I see;
But you will still have to go and delete the old schedules manually ![]()
I don't know about that... and/or in which Revit version, perhaps latest (currently i'm in rvt2019). Edit: tested, works in 2020 version
So that's easier then with add-in... Don't know why but for some reason it deletes some other views though, when selecting all in project (=possible) (bug?)
Copy paste the content from the Legend view want to the Legend view already placed on sheets.
