Survey Point

Hello all,

Maybe a not so clever question..

Could someone tell me normally in a project from where we take the coordinates for the survey point?

It will be 0.0.0 or there is someone that need to give it's coordinates?

Thank you in advance!

The Survey Point is exactly what is says it is. If you have a Survey ( in Cad ) file, there will be a coordinate system used by the surveyor, with X,Y and Z points.

Link the Cad file into Revit. Then specify the coordinates for the Survey Point.

When I link in Revit a .dwg geopositioned, and Acquire Coordinates, I have the survey point in 0.0.0 and the project base point in a distance. It means that The survey point in Revit is the same with the Survey in CAD?

Thank you!
