How do I control the resolution of curved surfaces so that they appear smooth when exporting from Revit LT to .DWG?
When I bring a .DWG file into Revit, the smooth surfaces are faceted instead of smooth. See screen shot. Revit LT is not compatible with Lumion Revit Plug-in.

@ToanDNis how I would approach. However not every rendering will make curve display as smooth. I do run into this issue with smaller objects. Screenshot below showcase object made in Revit export as CAD 3d solid. When link them back and render, it give you facet surface.
ToanDN,
Thanks very much for the suggestion to export solids as ACIS solids. Doing so solved the problem by removing the faceted surfaces on curved surfaces when I imported the model into Lumion. However, using this option created a problem with material definitions. For some reason, Revit assigned arbitrary material definitions to surfaces, in some cases assigning the same material to surfaces with different material definitions. My work-around was to export two models (one for the majority of the Revit model and one for the important curved surfaces) and then align them in Lumion. The ACIS export still had some seemingly random material definitions when imported into Lumion, but none of those surfaces appeared in the Lumion views.
