Surface Sliding Curtain Wall Door Family

I am building a curtain wall door family which incorporates the frame of a surface sliding door as a curtain panel.  I want the frame opening for the door panels to maintain a set width while the sidelites flex based on curtain wall mullions.  (Note: No door panels have been nested into it yet.)

When I load the family into a project, the frame flexes with the curtain grids properly but the overall panel is positioned off center in the opening.  I've reworked it several times trying different combinations of parameter association, instance parameter flexing, etc. with no avail.

Got  to be something small that I am missing here.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Boy, it's perplexing. It can be fixed -- with a lot more patience than I have right now. 😉

In the meantime, it makes a nice regular door.

Unpin the center (left/right) ref plane in the family.
