Hi
I went through the "IFC Options" dialog in Revit and found three things I am wondering about - se image below for Reference:
1. There are a couple of IFC Class names in the options dialog, that I don't find on the list for supported IFC classes by Revit:
http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2017/ENU/?guid=GUID-EE6C0CF8-7671-4DCC-B0C7-EEA7513C90A9
One of them is "ifcZone", which makes me Wonder what it actually means when an ifc Class is supported by Revit and how that will affect the
export if the class isn't supported - such as "ifcZone"....
2. The subcategories of "ifcZone" are labelled "{ifcZone}" What does it mean when a class name is written that way?
3. The class name for "Furniture Systems" is named: "ifcSystemFurnitureElement", however this is not supported by Revit either. Should it then be
renamed to something like: "ifcSystemFurnitureElementType"?

Hello @Anonymous,
Please place this question at the IFC for Revit Forum.
Angel Velez is the one who can help you the best with these questions.
Did you download the latest version of the Autodesk IFC exporter.
I would recommend doing that.
