I started my architecture studies, we are using Revit, the software seems to have problems from the beginning. Files do not save. Tools like Align work sometimes but mostly not and I do not know what to do anymore. Can somebody help me in some way? Thank you!

Which version of Revit are you using? Do you have a student license for the product? It almost sounds like you are using a trial version. If some of the commands are not working I would then suggest running a repair on the install and maybe even consider reinstalling the program.

Step 1 for new users is to verify that you are using the tools correctly and that the content you want to modify is appropriate for the tool. New users should stay away from concluding that the program has problems. More than likely it is a lack of understanding. Revit is a very complicated program and, as such, some tools have very specific requirements in order to work properly.
