STUD WALL ISSUE

Hello there:

I have an issue with a stud wall (curtain wall). Do someone knows how to fix this problem, i need the vertical stud to get the floor and roof and not to be clipped. Im attaching a screenshot about it. thanks in advance.

Regards,

PD: ive already thought about making two curtain walls to solve this problem, but i dont want this project to be more complicated to explain to some people

You mean you want the stud ends to extend into the C channel?

Well, you can't get there with a CW. How about wood studs instead?

Kidding. (sort of)***

How about melding two CWs together: one for the vertical studs, and one for the sill and top plate channels?

***you could model it as solid members and save this LOD for ADs and CDs. Just a thought.

Well, yes! ive already thought about it, and actually ive done that, but i was looking for a solution using a single CW.

tHANKS ANY WAY MY FRIEND!

Why do you need to show this level of details? A single CW cannot do it. Either using 2 CWs or an adaptive family hosting nested studs on a divided path.

Take it easy man! i didnt mean to bother you somehow. Im here to learn, not to yell people (if you did take it like that for writing in capital).

Thanks any way.

There is none. I offered you a workaround. That's what we are here to learn, or impart.

Thank you for your apology.

You should read all i wrote first buddy! im just explaining why i wrote in capital, im not apologyzing. You should tread your stress problem. By the way, im not a young man and also im not frustated. like a said before, im here to learn more and more, not for discussing why i did write using capital for accident.

Regards,

@lynsher:

You're quite right. My post to you was out of line. I'm sorry. My bad. The only excuse I can offer, is that my wife ran off with my best friend, and...I sure do miss him. Smiley (traurig)
