Hi, I have a family I made that has a parameter that appears in the wrong group when it is inserted into a project. I have deleted and purged the family out of my project. closed and reopened, I even restarted my computer trying to get Revit to forget the previous family parameters. The parameters are in the correct location in the family but when inserted one parameter is always in the wrong place. It shouldn't be, I have no idea why it is but it is and it is driving me crazy.
First image shows the one parameter in the "other" group. In the second image the parameter is in the correct place. No matter what I do, Purge, delete, exorcise, etc, When I load the family, that one parameter will be in the wrong place. WHY?

The workaround is a pain in the buttocks, but here goes:
Create Project Parameters from those same Shared Parameters and put in the order/grouping you want them, and then load the family. It will reorder its Parameters like the Project Parameters. You can delete Project Parameters afterwards. Is that clear?
Thanks, that did the trick. Odd though, that is how I created them in the first place but one was just stuck until I redefined it in project parameters. All the others fell into place just fine.
Thanks

Hope it helps.
