Presently I am involved with a basement design and understand the placement of exterior and interior doors. What I am trying to do is show just the wood stud walls with no sheet rock or exterior siding attached and the spacing between each stud. Is there a way to use the Dimension Wood found in Structural Framing to create the walls without having to invest in a third party program? Where can I can that helps explain the properties so I can have a vertical stud rather than a horizontal one.

You can do it quite easily with Curtain Walls, using Mullions for Dimension Lumber and Empty System Panels.
And/or use Beams and Columns.
CW Example:
By using this method I will be able to place windows and doors into it as well?
Sure. Frame the Opening, change the Empty System Panel in the opening to Basic Wall Type and host your Door/Window to the Basic Wall Type Panel.
You can check this topic with some sample curtainwall framing.
I do appreciate all the help I can get. This will take some time but with all the responses I believe I can make it happen
