how do you control the look of strip footings within the view template 'V/G Overrides Model' WITHOUT selecting all and changing the 'override in view'?  i've got a 'Wall Foundation Bearing Footing' style.  it's not represented in the View Template.  even tried to add 'Footings' under Object Styles under 'Structural Foundations'.

thanks.

Sounds like you need a Project Filter.

it worked but the question is why do i need to create a filter?  shouldn't this be an easier way?

If you want to build it into a View Template, it's the easiest way to do it.  What don't you like about it?

I just figured that the footings 'Wall Foundation Bearing Footing' would have a way to change the look without using a filter.  I was able to change the transparency and the patterns under projection/surface.
