Stringer short at top

I'm trying to figure out why Revit makes the stringers short at the top and how to change it so the stringer meets the header it will be fixed to. See attached for reference.

Anyone know how to change this?

Thanks

Edit and Uncheck End with Riser.

Thanks, I have done that before but then the top tread depth is too short... See below.

Am I missing something with how Autodesk has set this up?..

...lengthen the run to align the top tread to the landing surface.

what about this construction?

Using 3 stair types. One for framing (e.g. carriage stringers & treads). One for finish treads/risers. One for the closed stringers.

That works, thanks!

I'm guessing you just converted it to a sketch based stair?..

Do you know of any reason Autodesk would have setup the stairs to act like this and require modification?.. I assume there must be some reason for it.

Component Stair (not Sketch) with End with Riser unchecked.

BTW @waldie.jonathan: In case you didn't notice, @ToanDN also fudged the last tread.  Made it 11".  Did you see that?

Ok got ya.

This still doesn't seem to work in the real world because when you have a 1" nosing on the top landing to match the rest of the stair treads, it still only gives you a 9" run on the top step with a nosing-to-nosing measurement. So we are back to the stringer being too short and not reaching the landing when 'end with riser' is checked. The 'end with riser' is needed in order to add the extra 1" back to meet the min. run requirement assuming there is a nosing on the landing.
