Stringer Cut at Landing - Revit Stairs

Using the Assembled Stair option to create a wood stair - is there a way to edit the cut of the stringer/carriage to a vertical cut at the landing?

Do some calculation to get Structural Depths on Run and on Landing right.  You can go to an elevation, sketch a line where you want the bottom of the support @ the landing, measure the distance to the get the Depth.

Hi @Anonymous

Just checking back on this issue. Did the recommendation by @ToanDN help and let us know if you have additional questions.

Also, confirm if you have the latest updates installed for your Revit version.

Regards,

Hi @Viveka_CD

I have attempted the suggestion by @ToanDN many times.  (Thanks for the suggestion). I have tried working the math backwards to have a 2x12 stringer/carriage and still no luck on getting a vertical cut.

I have all current updates on 2016.

I see.  I can get it by convert the landing to sketch, split to create a very short segment at the corner. Then the support will terminate vertically because they are separated by a small gap.

Just giving you  ahead up that it maybe more difficult with open carriages if you have a nosing distance.

Thinking out loud - maybe it is better keep it the way you had it, then use linework to remove the angled join lines where you don't want to see them.
