Strange materials keep getting added to the Project Materials

I started cleaning up our firm's Revit template materials and deleted all the extra ones that we never use. After opening our template again, I saw these materials (starts with Analytical ....) added to the Project Materials (screenshot below) Does anyone know how these keep coming back? Are there families that bring these materials to the project? Or is it anyway to track how it was added?

The "Analytical" materials in Revit are typically associated with analytical models used for structural analysis. These materials can be automatically added to your project when you perform specific actions, such as:

Loading Families: Some families, especially those related to structural components, might have analytical properties that include these materials. When you load such families into your project, the associated materials can be added automatically.

Linking or Importing Models: If you link or import models that contain analytical elements, the materials associated with those elements can be brought into your project.

Using Analytical Tools: If you use Revit's analytical tools or features, such as creating an analytical model for structural analysis, these materials might be generated as part of that process.

To track how these materials are added, you can try the following:

Audit the Template: Open your template and check for any families or linked models that might include analytical properties. You can review the families in the project browser and check their properties.

Check Project Settings: Look into the project settings related to structural analysis and see if any default settings might be adding these materials.

Review Recent Changes: If you have a version control system or a log of recent changes, review it to see if any recent actions might have triggered the addition of these materials.

Consult with Team Members: If you're working in a team, ask if anyone has recently loaded families or used features that might have added these materials.

If you want to prevent these materials from being added, you might need to adjust the settings or workflows causing them to appear.
