Hi guys, in the project i'm currently working on this strange arrow symbol has appeared on some sections heads and elevation symbols. The overall sections and elevations of the project don't show this problem, but the details we've inserted as drafting views and then linked to sections symbols are the ones that are being affected. The callout head family doesnt have any parameter or label apart from the detail and sheet number and the sheet appears normally on the project browser. Also we've been working on for weeks without this problem and today it appeared out of nowhere. Thank you for your help
When you select the section tag does that weird symbols also get highlighted or not?
What type of font are you using? If you switch to different font, does that symbol disappear?
is this in Revit 2024?
I can only think it’s a bug (it serves a purpose but should not be visible) or a new way to show that this is a referenced view?
in previous versions you had a text reference “SIM” to indicate it was a simulation view and not the model directly!
What I finally found as a solution was to use Go To View to open the referenced views and the symbol disappeared instantly. I think this may be a bug. Thanks to everyone for your replies and advice ![]()
