Storefront: Interior vs. Exterior

Is the storefront 'Function' Type Parameter for Interior or Exterior just a scheduling thing, or is there some other thing happening that I can't see?

the built in Function is in general a type Property of walls (not just curtain walls)...as well as other system components. Most people do not even notice it and some do use it either for scheduling as u mentioned or for filtering/overrides. However, apart from the above, this type property also determines/effects how the components' are treated when the analytical surface are exported to gbXML.

If you do not do any solar/energy/shading analysis you do not need to worry about it.

Function parameter It affects several factors:

* Wall drawing mode

* filter

*schedule

*Heating and cooling load

* and etc ...
