The first thing I try at every Revit updates, is to open a Legend view, throw a door in it, and try to tag its type mark.
This is what architects need to do, every day, all day: make legends (for door types, partition types, windows schedules... you name it).
It is always the same simple function: put a series of elements (samples) in a place where they can be documented but not accounted as part of the main model, that is, be invisible to schedules.
A number of work arounds have been discussed extensively, for decades.
I am just wondering if I am missing something in 2022 to better achieve this.
By the way, I love all the great new features of 2022.

Thank you

PS: also, in a Legend view, it appears floor elements still cannot be represented in plan, and walls cannot be represented in elevation. This is needed to show (and tag) finishes, in order to make material legends (another very basic thing architects do all day, every day).
