Steel Lintel doesn't fit in the created masonry walls?

Hi,

I have a question about the Open_Back_Steel Lintel that the instructor showed in a revit training course that doesn't fit in the walls that I created (pls see screenshot attached), on the drop-down list, there's no smaller size of a lintel, is there a scaling tool that I can use to downscale the size maybe?

Also, I couldn't find the repeating detail component of blocks, on my default list, there's only standard brick option...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Sandra

Hello,

Select any type and import it. then while placing it, click edit Type>>Duplicate (add new name) then edit the size as required.

Regarding the repeating detail component, please tell more about what you want because your question is not clear.

Every repeating detail has to be created by you unless they are in your base template.

Block as in CMU?  Revit has quite a few included the OOTB Library. Drill down into the Detail Items Folder and locate the 042200-Concrete Unit Masonry sub folder.  Load the one you want to use into your Project and create a Repeating Detail using it.  Just Duplicate and Rename an existing Repeating Detail and select your block from the "Detail" drop-down.  Change other Parameter Values as appropriate and press OK to Save.
