Steel beam not showing

Good day everyone, I am trying to make steel beams by picking the lines from a mass, once picked, Revit says the beam is there and it is represented by a (red) line, but the beam is not shown. I've looked at visibility settings it all seems in place, I cannot figure it out. Please see attached image where the inclined lines of the mass have been picked to show a standard steel beam family loaded from the library. Thanks.beammmm.png

Beams now show in elevation views and in 3D, but not in plan

Have you change the plan view to Medium or Fine as suggested?  Do you want to see the beams cut by the view range cut plane or full projection?

@mauarduz

Your plan view is set to coarse and wireframe

  1. Set it to hidden and fine
  2. If you want to show the beam pre-cut .   You need to edit the family and check/enable the option

OK, solved by editing the detail level within the family, enabling the coarse view check box, in family edit mode.
