Steel beam miter connection section view problem

Hello,

when I create beams and connect them with a miter , the beams are not displayed correctly in section views.

As shown in the screenshot the flange lines are too long or too short.

Is there a solution too this Problem?

Are you using PFC or Channels?

I know there was an issue with some of the families in earlier releases where the Symbolic lines in the Family were not constructed correctly!

If you change to another Section Shape such as an I-Beam does the issue still occur?

I am using PFC. If I use an I-Beam the lines are displayed correctly.

So I think the problem is in the U-Beam Family, is there a way to solve this?

As @jay_colcombe stated, there are some of the OOTB Structural Framing and Structural Column families which has issues with 2D Symbolic representation in the .rfa ...and such variation differe slightly between the different families.

Sometimes it is as simple as changing the Symbolic Representation parameter By Project to By Family and sometimes you might need to redon them. Its hard to guess just by looking at the image. If you would post the family you have used, you would make it easier for someone out there to help you fix it

(2025.4) In the family you have attached, the flange 2D symbolic lines seem to be properly constrained and behave as expected ...the only thing I would change about them is placing them on a subcategory and asign them a hidden line patterns ...I am not sure what is causing them to break at your end...maybe the placement method? I cannot seem tto be able to recreate the same at my end

Did you try a different structural framing family? or in a new project maybe?
