State license lookup table?

Not sure if this has been asked and/or answered, but i was wondering if i could use a lookup table to populate an architect/engineer's license information by state onto my tile block.  Right now i have to create different family types with their name and license number for each state (ie: John Doe (NJ), John Doe (CA).....).  I was hoping to just select what state the project is in and who is going to sign it and the correct license information would be populated.  Any thoughts if i can use lookup tables for this? of if someone has a better way?

You can create different types in a generic annotation family, or different generic annotation families, each with a license, nest it (them) in your TB family, create Family Type <Generic Annotation> parameter so that you will have a drop down list of licenses to choose from.

Could do some elaborate "if" scheme, but this will get complex depending on the number of States you work in. Something with tying global parameters to the title lock parameters.

But isn't the person stamping the person designing? Wouldn't this usually be decided in a non-automated Revit way? Or are they just rubber-stamping a project because they happen to have a license in that State? Since this is something you only need to enter in a Revit project once, maybe the easiest to  do it old-school.

Yes, the signer is always involved with the design, but they are not the ones typically drawing it up.

We print the name and license number for that state under the seal location.  it is more for raised seals like NJ, but are considering adding it to all drawings.  we currently do what ToanDN suggests, i was just trying to make the list smaller because we have several people licensed in several states.  Thank you for your help!

Use an Excel file and dynamo.
