I need to show stairs in plan view in a way, that lines above 1600 mm are shown in dash dot. My plan views show the stair in that level and also the one below which makes the dash dot not show. My view range is set to 0, 1600 and 3600 (bottom, cut plane, top). There´s no underlay.
I can work around this by hiding the stair below in every view but this doesn´t work for multistory stairs. What´s the solution for this?

you can create a plan region only for the stair and then apply your specific view range.

Adding a plan region doesn´t help, because my view depth and bottom is already set to 0 so why is the lower level still showing up in the view? I even tried changing those to higher values but it doesn´t make a difference.

You have to set the Plan Region value to the lowest level where the stair originally drawn.
That's not a solution.
It just show a fake object there.
If I have different design for levels, it can't fix the problem.
