Stairs Tread Numbering

Hello Everyone,

 

I have some troubleshooting in Revit 2020, I created a structural up plan (view direction parameter is up) and I wanna give stairs tread number but the tread numbering button is not active my up plan. I can't see my stairs and I can't numbering my treads. I doing in the linked project, my stairs in linked model

I think you might have to model the stairs not using stair tool to do that, ie. in-place model under stair category, not really sure though...

No used creat stair command it's not model in place stairs

I think that's the default of a looking Up plan.

One work around would be creating a normal looking down floor plan and show their the stair only with the treads numbers then when you prepare the sheets, add the stair plan view over the looking up view.

yes, I know ... Like I said, you might have to model it in place instead if you want it to show the stairs in this type of plan... Stairs will show as symbolic with <above> outline. The above mentioned workaround might work for you also.
