Has anyone created or figure out how to either:

combine a dimension string with a stair tag so that it reads [stair length/ # treads @ xx"]

or vise versa - create a stair tag that gives the stair length?

I've got a dimension and then a stair tag placed manually under the dimension.

just wondering

Calculated Parameter=Actual Number of Risers * Actual Tread Depth

OK, good.  now, can that be added to a dimension line OR create once the tag is applied, show a dimension lines?

actually, shouldn't it be (Actual Number of Risers * Actual Tread Depth) - Actual Tread Depth  if the stairs starts and ends with a riser.

The above screenshot is the Tag. No, you cannot put this information into a dimension automatically.
