Hi,

You have to adjust the structural and the total depth in Stringer Type.

Thank you. I used to edit type like that, but...

I will explan this problem below

pic 1 Depth stringer over treads and risers. I want depth stringer =0.15m (green circle)

positon stringer stair 0.15 m.jpg

pic 2 I change depth dimensions to 0.15m. stringer shows as red line, but I want it showing like green line

positon stringer stair change 0.15 m.jpg

please, suggest me to solute this.

Hi,

Ok. Now I understood exactly the problem.

Have you try with a custom section profile?

In custom profile the total depth is fixed from the profile

hi,

I tried to use another section profile (likes pic 1) then setting depth this profile in family type = 0.15 m (like pic 2) ,but it can't fix the problem about position (likes pic 1)

I think what you mean is about to create new parameter of this family type (this custom section proflie) to solute about stringer position right?

Use a solid mass to cut the stringers.

Unfortunately Revit does not allow us to define an origin within aa profile family which would allow you to add an offset from the location line (bottom of riser/run connection) in the project.

Best bet in my opinion is to remove the stringers which are part of the stairs. Then use a steel column at an angle to make the stringers. You can then have whatever profile or location you want.
