I'm very new to Revit and I'm experience just another one of the things that's about to drive me crazy. So I was able to build a stair, this was actually way simpler than I expected and, viola, I didn't waste an hour drawing as section through the stair later!
Ok, my problem. This stair is modeled, starting at the upper level and going down to the main level. The stair starts to go down the first flight on the left hand side of these images, this can be verified looking at the section.
When the stair is located inside the house model where it should be the DN text and CIRCLE to start the stair path do not appear. Instead you can see the path starting on the main level and if I turn on the UP text you'd see that through the floor of the upper level.
If I move the stair 20' outside of the home the home the stair shows up correctly, with the DN text and CIRCLE on the left hand side of the path.
Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong or is this just another quirk *cough* feature of Revit? For the time being I've just drawn the circle and added the text but I though the entire purpose of the program was to get me to stop faking the information and model it correctly.
Thanks in advance!!
