Spot Elevation text orientation 45 degrees

Hi,

Is it possible to orient the text to 45 degrees in a spot elevation like in the screen shot shown?  In the Text Orientation parameter it only allows for horizontal or vertical.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure what you mean.  I need be able to place the spot levels and they come up at a 45 degree angle just the same as either horizontal or vertical do when you have them selected in the text orientation option.  Are you saying I need to rotate each of them separately?  This is for spot levels on topography for a site plan.

No, place a Ref. Plane at 45 degrees at each spot location to be called out and use the settings shown in screenshot.  It's a workaround.  Revit can't do 45s.  If you got a slew of Spot Elevations to place, it's pain in the buttocks workaround too.

I do not get it. How can you place a spot elevation on a ref. plane? It doesn't want to snap to it

Hi @danilenko_architect, @stephenjthomasdesign , I am not sure of the utility of the reference plane, but with the same type properties (Rotate with Component + Vertical) you can actually place a tag in 45. You just need to uncheck the Shoulder box in the instance properties. Hope that helps ✌️
