Spot elevation problem

Hi fellas!

I have a problem where I can't place a spot elevation. Are certain objects blocked from the function?
How would you solve this? (I rather don't write as text since the values aren't trustworthy afterwards)

I can place spot elevations on the flat surfaces of a generic model, but only on the edges of non-planar surfaces.

Strange. Can you do it in plan views as well? Maybe it has to do with the generic model being a meter above the level or something?

Yes I can do it on a plan view.  The Cut Plane must be higher than the highest point of the generic model WHEN you place the spot elevations.  When done, you can change the Cut plane to cut through the element and the existing spot elevations still remain.  In any case, the elements must be within the Top and bottom View range.

Hi,

you didn't mention you need spot elevation in plan view?

If that's the case, try to place spot elevation on the floor edges. If it works, probably the problem is in the fact that you are viewing your plan view in "Wireframe" view mode. Put it in "Hidden line".
