Spot Elevation Crash

I am running Revit 2019.2 (19.2.0.65).

About one in every four times I try to place an spot elevation Revit crashes on me. This isn't a minor glitch, this is a major problem, because as I previously stated, one in every four times I place a spot elevation Revit crashes. I have gotten close to remembering every time I place a spot elevation to save my file, cross my fingers, through some salt over my shoulder and wish for the best, but sometimes I still forget.

Is Autodesk aware of this problem and working on a fix?  @AnnaOscarson I sent you some files and a screen cast a month ago but am still experiencing the problem and am awaiting an update and a solution.

I wanted to post here so that Anna or someone else from Autodesk could respond and so that others experiencing the problem can see they are not the only ones and hopefully find a solution.

Thanks

looks like it triggered some program to launch in the background.  Do these "ghosts" mean anything to you?

I have never seen that before. Does you see this when you get the Fatal error message or at other times too?

My computer has always done this when I have multiple screens. I am pretty sure the intention is that when I grab a window I can drag it to one of these boxes (or section of box) to help shortcut/organize window placement on my screens. The thing about it is, it has never worked.

The reason you see it in this video is that I grab the error message from my off screen and was dragging it to my active screen so people could see the message in the video. Again, this is completely independent of the fetal error and only pops up when I try to move the error window/message.

On a side note to anyone reading this thread who knows anything about this, what program is driving this and how do I shut it off (since it does not work). I am running an MSI 4K/UHD GT73VR Titan Pro 4K-200 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080) laptop with all of the system bloatware that wasn't obvious to me I could uninstall. Maybe direct message me so we don't clutter up this thread.

Thanks.
