Dear Autodesk,
As I am working more and more with point clouds inside the revit environment I noticed that there is not way to obtain the spot coordinates (XYZ) of the point of a point cloud. This seems to be a much needed piece of functionality. I am currently using Revit 2017 (we can't upgrade just yet). Has this been implemented into the newer versions?
What would be the use case? Simple, I import a georeferenced point cloud and I have to understand the grading of the existing walkways, site elements or even interiors. I noticed that while it is great to capture the data and be able to import it into Revit or autocad for that matter, there isn't much that can be done with it.
Thank you
