Spot coördinate level on floorplan

I'm modeling a foundation and would like to put a spot coördinate tag with the elevation of the TOP of my round footings on the floorplan. Problem is, when I place the spot coördinate it shows the BOTTOM elevation instead of the TOP.
Any way I can make it snap to the top instead of the bottom? The family of the footing is a cylindrical extrusion with a line going through the center.

Thanks

Are you using a Spot Coordinate command or the Spot Elevation command?  The Spot Elevation command will give you the ability to display the Top, Bottom, Actual and Top and Bottom (look at the Options toolbar as you place the Spot Elevation)

I'm using the spot coordinate tag so I can have x, y and level in a single tag, wich I prefer.

I have found that I can add the top level parameter to my structural foundation tag but the tag sadly doesn't seem to have coordinate parameters as an option.
