Split Face Boundary Issues

Hi,

I currently have two walls which I am unable to attach due to the structure of the buildings in the project. The walls are made up of different materials, however, I need these two walls to appear the same material at some sections. The grey and the brick area are all to be brick (see below image).

To do this I am using the Split Face tool then using the Paint tool to apply the texture. When I use the split face tool however, I am unable to split right to the boundary edge.

To get around this I have split the face .5mm from the boundary line. In doing so when I view the drawing I have a very thin line on the edge of the boundary which is unwanted. Obviously this line represents the .5mm gap from being unable to go right to the boundary edge.

Does anyone know of a work around this?

I'd use the linework tool to turn those lines to invisible to minimize your .5mm gap.

Say what? Can you post the file?  You shouldn't need to Split the Face.
