Hello,
I have a situation where we are using spaces to make filling out room data easier. Currently there are two architectural models linked, into our model. The problem is that in certain areas, each architectural model has a room created, but with different information. One architectural model is correct, but the space only wants to pull from the incorrect one. Both models need to be linked as they are being used for room bounding.
I tried putting the incorrect model's rooms on a workset, and then turning that workset off in our model, but that didn't work. Does anyone know a work around for this.
I would rather not have to go into the links and start editing, because every time we get an updated model, I would need to do that.
Thank you,

Welcome to the forum.
What do you mean by we are using spaces to make filling out room data easier. ?
The main thing we are using them for is floor finish patterns in the rooms. It was ultra easy to create them, and you can break them up without affecting the real room boundaries. They also take information from the room, such as the room name and number.
The problem is that the space is pulling the wrong room name and number. Because there are two rooms in one place, one from linked model A and one from linked model B.

A space (I am asuming you are on the MEP Team) understands in which room of a linked model it resides and reports the identity of that room based on relative locations, AND NOT on a link to a specific room ID...Having two linked models with same rooms (duplicated but 1 with wrong Information) is like flipping a coin Heads or Tails. You cannot specify which of the two models or which room the space should pull the info from.
Ideally (best practice) the Consultant providing you with the link containing wrong room info should
Two links with contradicting Information is a NO GOOD...That's my personal opinion, I wouldn't go for a Workaround on this issue.
