Specifications software that works with Revit

Happy Monday, all!

Is there any third party software specifications software (possibly E-Spec?) that works with Revit? Something that you use, know and love that can be recommended for me to investigate for our use?

Thank you!

I'm sure you're right! I'm really interested to see what others people come up with.

Kind regards,
Ian

These are the three that come to mind right away: BSD Softlink, e-Specs, and NBS. If there are others they are obscure enough they haven't caught my eye.

I've worked with a few firms that have used e-Specs. I don't know where they stand on it now. There is quite a bit of configuration required to make it work but once that preparation is in place generating an outline specification based on modelling tasks can be impressive. Brian Payne's ArchFUSE blog delves into using e-Spes in some articles. Another firm I worked for looked at the BSD solution for quite awhile too, I've lost touch with them on that front too though.

For the most part both (e-Specs and BSD) are effective and, naturally, have their idiosyncratic requirements. NBS is UK based so it may better localized for their territory than North American habits?
