Specialty Equipment family line weight

Hi all. I have made a dead simple specialty equipment family (a canopy) that is not observing the cut line weight assigned to the category. I've attached the family. It is one solid extrusion cut by a void extrusion at the corner. Whether I change the lineweight for specialty equipment in Object Styles or attempt to override it in VG, nothing changes. According to object styles, it should be the same weight (pen 4) as the walls, floors and roofs in this view, and there are no overrides in the view template. This section is definitely cut through the solid. What am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately, specialty equipment can't be cut, which is why changing the cut line weight doesn't do anything. If you change the projected line weight for specialty equipment in this view, then you will get the desired effect. But that may impact other specialty equipment in that view. You'll have to decide what's best for your project. You can use a filter that just applies to this family, or change the family to another category that can be cut, like casework.

I totally forgot about this. Thanks for reminding me. Somehow I thought that Autodesk changed this in more recent versions but I guess not.

Update: I was correct, specialty equipment is supposed to be cuttable in Revit 2023, so I'm not sure why this wasn't working. Anyway, changing the family category to Site fixed it.
