Sometimes Roof Eaves don't align?

Every once in a while I'll run into this issue where my eaves won't line up, (See attached Image). This doesn't make any sense to me as I don't adjust the "offset from roof base" value. All values are at 0 meaning that the Eaves should all be aligned with one another. If anyone is interested this example is just one singular roof footprint rather than the gable end being its own separate footprint. Usually making gable ends their own footprint will fix the issue, but I've had times where the gable ends would still not line up. This seems to be a glitch with Revit and I'm just wondering if anyone else experiences this issue and has a good reasoning for it?

Have you tried to use Align Eaves tool?

Yes, but this doesn't correct the issue. That tool is essentially a quick way to align eaves that have different offset values. All of my Eaves already had an offset value of 0 so nothing really changes

It is an anomaly. It considers the lowest level line as if it is in Plumb cut mode even when the roof is set with Two Cut - Plumb. It is probably because of the shape of the roof (all the ins and outs). I am experiencing the same issue in addition to the impossibility to generate the roof using walls as reference and not Picklines or other types of lines when drawing the boundary (footprint) line.

Workarounds I found:
- break the roof into simpler geometry roofs then join them.

- select that edge (in footprint edit mode) then set the "Offset From Roof Base" (Properties window) to -x (measured on elevation) - I believe this is an approximation though.

@revit programmers - it would be useful if you could fix it at your end so it will save a lot of time for everyone using that tool (two plumb cut).
