Hello!
I have a problem with angle control.
There you can see my light with two lighting fixtures - light console and light head.
I need to change my horizontal angle that my light console "walk" tangent to light head, like that, and that is automatic:
But now, if I change my angle, my light console is like that: (I already tried to align my two Lighting Fixtures)
Can anyone help with that?
(2 days already searched information about that)
Thank you!
Agnija

try adjusting the location of rotation axis
504 measures from a center point of a reference line associated to the part of the light fixture that actually rotates.
assign and lock a reference line from the axis point to the center of the light fixture that needs to rotate along that axis line (reference line)
it should work the same as a door swing angle
Is the element that you are trying to rotate a nested family hosted to a Ref. Line?
Just post the RFA here and let us see how it is constructed.
Yeah, your family isn't constructed correctly. It's fixable though. I just need to know how it is suppose to flex. Can you provide a picture of the actual light fixture - or a Link to the Manufacturer's website? Looks like it is a wall- mounted light fixture that tilts up and down, while that "bracket" remains in a stationary position attached to the wall. Something like I'm showing here without the bracket:
This light is like street lantern and light source "head" is in a stationary position parallel to ground, but only the second part of light tilts up and down, like that:

You sure about that?
Isn't a streetlight mounted on a stationary pole and the fixture aimed at the street?
I am pretty sure about that, but maybe I am wrong.
Nevertheless, now my only problem is angle rotation point.
I need, that my rotation takes place around this point (in this file).
Yes! You are right!
I solved my problem, but I have a another problem and I see, that You know that! ![]()
How do you join light source and light "head'' together? Becauce Revit don't let me change the light source angle.
Hopefully, you can reverse-engineer the attached Family to see how it's done. Basically, your Light Fixture Family is Nested into another Family and Hosted to a Ref. Line Work Plane that has an adjustable angle.
NOTE: Light Fixture Family is "Work Plane-Based" and not "Always Vertical" and "Shared".
NOTE: Since Light Fixture Family is "Shared", you can directly access and change it's properties by TAB-Selecting on the Light Fixture in either the Hosting Family or in the Project.
NOTE: Ref. Line (Work Plane) was placed in Elevation View and its TIP was LOCKED at the X and Y Origin Ref. Planes -- and then the Angular Dimension was pulled and Labeled.
Good luck.
a solution fiesta or what is this exactly?

Because all soloutions were almost right and something worked, something not. (except mine)
Sorry about solution spam.
My foult!
I can not open your file, because I have a revit 2021, but I understand your solution.
