solid voids keep getting error

I keep creating a solid void to chamfer an edge on a wall but every time I create one  I keep getting a error .

says solid void cuts nothing so it will be erased. Does anyone have any suggestions?

this is what the pop up error  says

Some Void Forms of this family do not cut anything and will be deleted. To make a Void Form cut something else use the Cut Geometry tool.

Before you finish the in-place void family, you need to use the "Cut Geometry" command to have it cut the walls. Once the void is cutting the walls, you can finish the void.

after clicking cut also same error is appearing
