Solid fill behind text in linked CAD file

I get a strange solid dash behind all my text in a linked CAD file. It is not present in the actual CAD file.

Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?

Remember : without the difficult times in your LIFE, you wouldn't be who you are today. Be grateful for the good and the bad. ANGER doesn't solve anything. It builds nothing, but it can destroy everything...

Could be a Polyline or Line Weight in the Room Tag in the Cad file? Try setting/reducing line width in Cad.

It is just text, not a dimension.

I have checked the dimstyles anyway - there is no fill

Tried all of that, there are no tags - just text.
