Hi,
What is the best and economical software for interior design? We were using the traditional drawing board so far and would like to switch over to a 3D model software.
Regards,
VV Team.
That is not a simple question to answer and requires much more information.
It depends on the company, the amount of work, the type of work, your customers, your personnel. etc. etc.
I think you should make a problem definition. See what you need/want to do. Then look for solutions and then check if it is economically viable.
There are many different types of software that can assist in making interior designs. However they all can have different scopes.
For example
-If you are looking into rendering and animation something like 3ds max might be a solution
-If you are looking for a BIM solution to fill a whole building with interior Revit might be a good choice.
-If you need all the details to enable production of the items then something like Inventor could be the solution.
But there are many other possible solutions like Sketchup, Photoshop and many more

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Hi
Software selection has many criteria , Price , the power , Company Support and .....
But 3DS max Is one of the good software in this work and Vray Plugin or Corona Plugin For Rendering Engine 3DS Max
And Sketchup in Faster than 3DS max But Weaker it
OR use Revit Architecture .....
Good Rendering : First:3DMAX Sec:Sketchup & revit
Work Speed : First:SketchUp Sec:Revit Th:3DSMAX
Low Price : First:SketchUp Sec:Revit Th:3DSMAX
Company Support: First: 3DSMAX & Revit (Autodesk) Sec:Sketchup
And.......

If I were coming from the traditional drawing board then I would pick SketchUp. Easier learning curve, sketchy feel in case I missed my pencil strokes on curled up vellum. It can be coupled with VRay plugin to create photo realistic renderings if needed.
Kit+Bath uses 20-20.
..... for easy learning and easy way of doing everything
..... SKETCHUP

I would evaluate what your consultant team are using and try to adapt the same software so you can easily work with you and them. For startup conceptual design, sketchup is probably the easiest since it has 3d warehouse fills with tons of content. As you work with construction documentation, that is where you have to evaluate what software will work best with your consultant team.
I've worked with interior design that use Vectorworks and only to have our team translate their work to collaborate. Sometimes having team working on the same software will save a lot of rework.

I thin TWINMOTION and LUMION are very easy because objects are ready for interior design
