when trying to get this image I am using as a setting artificial only
I don’t have any lights loaded, so why is getting so illuminated? it is super overexposed
Isn’t supposed to get super black?
thanks, but, that is not the problem. now I know that.
the thing is why when I try to render the image ONLY with artificial is getting so over exposed?
why isn't getting black? if I never evr load lights on the project?
why is not dark? do you understand?
if I rendered the view with ONLY sun I understand to get light, but Im talking about ONLY artificial without artificial lights
What view are you rendering? The file you posted had no camera views or 3D views that look like the image you posted.
@Anonymous wrote:when you open the file is 3d view, preview, left side of the 3d view
There is no views like your image set up in the file you posted, however I can create an ortho camera view of the bathroom that is almost like your image, and render it fine. I got good results with 15.22 exposure. I rendered Draft quality, Interior: Artificial Lights only, no clouds
im sorry, Im guessing is a dumb question, or Im not making myself clear, thanks for your help.
let me refrase it : hope you will understand me
with image 1 attached with your settings gets ok visible
with image 2 attached with the artificial interior only gets over exposed
with image 3 attached isn't supposed to be like this if there are no lightsa in the project?
maybe this is a normal behavior in revit and I am making mydself confused
Well, practically speaking, why are you rendering with Artificial Lights only when there are none. Revit is giving you exactly what you asked it for: a rendered scene with NO lights at all -- coming from ANY source. That's called "Darkness". The difference between Draft, Medium and Best would be the degree of darkness shown; wouldn't it?
@Anonymous: I just ran a series of renders, and I hate to tell you, but I can't replicate what you are showing in your images. I'm wondering if this might be a hardware issue for you.
...Materials aren't rendering! Assign ASSETS to your materials. For instance: "Porcelain, White" isn't using a bone fide Revit Asset. Check it out.
@Anonymous: I did notice that there is an Exposure "sweet spot" at which it goes totally black. Different Render Qualities require different Exposure Values. Did you play with the Exposure slider each time you rendered?
