smoothed edge with radius and non-revolving "water drop"

Hello,

I am creating artistic patterns and need the edge of the form smooth with rarius, and a pattern like a non-revolving water drop. (note: this is a  non-extruction form, so unable to use void along a curved path)

any advice? thanks

Join a dome with a reduced profile form.

sweep with profile mostly failed at the narrowed end, any link for tutorial (especially for such artistic pattern)?

Do it the other way around. Subtractive Modeling,  Create a dome and then cut it with a Void to create those shapes.

Make the profiles bigger and add a void to cut the bottom of the form.
