Hello Revit community,
I would like to create a wall tag that change its visibility depending on the value of a parameter within the project.
Let me explain my self:
If a wall in the project has a share parameter called "Wall type" which contains the letter M (Masonry) the wall tag shows up one way if instead this parameter contains the letter D (Drywall) the wall tag shows up another way.
What I need is to link a yes/no parameter in the family tag with the share parameter "Wall type" in the project, however how can I make it work to be able to work IF Wall type contains M then turn on.
Any help???
Many thanks
I've got a similar workaround. I have one walltype for walls and another that looks very much like the window tag for storefront systems. I couldn't figure out a way to make the tag automatically change based on wall type, so I just manually select the correct tag.
Is this still the way it works?
I would LOVE to have a value in my family drive the visibility or type of the tag...
