pan, zoom and other functions are super slow in Realistic with edges mode. here is my computer :
I have Xeon CPU with 32 GB Ram and 256 GB of SSD storage, NVIDIA Quadro M2000 graphic card
any idea why is that ?

Partially depends on the clock speed of your processor, but mostly on the graphics card and what you've got in the model. The 2000-series Quadro cards are pretty low level.
Of course, if "The computer is slow when I do _____", then the somewhat-flippant answer is "Then don't do _____". You're not going to get the same performance for higher-quality as you do for lower quality.

Sorry to hear about your slow down issues especially while rendering in in the realistic mode.
By default the realistic mode significantly slows down model navigation, especially in detailed models since this mode uses the render appearance asset defined in each material.
