Sloped zigzag pattern

I'm trying to make a family with this zigzag pattern we use for our insulation. I already have one that works when the insulation is flat. But the top layer needs to be sloped, and i can't seem to get it to work. Right now i'm drawing every single line manually in the top layer, which is very time consuming. Arrays seems to only work when they are all exactly the same. Anyone know if this is possible?

what kind of family are you trying to make? the image looks like a Roof maybe.

if your looking for the fill pattern to adjust as the thickness changes. the pattern will not adjust from thick end to thin end, getting larger to smaller, based on the slope.

if I understand correctly you want the patterns to rotate with the element, however the pattern will be static, even if you rotate or move the angle. To do what you want, you'll need to use the detail component and the repetition detail component.

Watch this video teaching how to create and use repetition detail component

Easiest way to achieve this would be to use hatch pattern. You can download hatch similar to what you want.

A detail component. In the image attached, the bottom one is a detail component, which i can drag and change in size. I would like to have a similar detail component for the top one, where i can drag the ends and change the height in the beginning and end.
