Slanted Wall with Edited Profile in Revit LT

See the slanted wall below:

Ryan_Hettinger_0-1608590060883.png

Now view it from an angle:

Ryan_Hettinger_1-1608590105233.png

I need to edit the profile of this wall so that it has a similar angle as the columns you see next to it. I need it to be like this when viewing it from the side elevation:

Ryan_Hettinger_2-1608590208196.png

However, when adding a slant to a wall with an edited profile I am getting the following message that does not allow me to do this:

Ryan_Hettinger_3-1608590249872.png

I am using Revit LT.

I've never encountered that error.  The Profile is doable though. Do you have all four sketch lines?

@barthbradley Just verifying, once you edit the wall profile, are you able to add a slant to it?

Yah...and attach it to a roof afterwards via the Attach Top/Base tool.

@barthbradley

See the video below for replicating the error message and for the workaround I used.

Edit: How do I get the embedded video to work here?

Ah! 2021 Slanted Wall!  I see now what you are trying to do? I can't do it either.

What about Cutting the Angle with an In-Place Void?

I don't believe in-place void is available in Revit LT.

Model the Void in a Family then.  Check "Cuts With Void When Loaded".
