While being able to create a horizontal reveal, with a profile whom i may edit, i would like to make a slanted reveal ( see red line) following the bottom line of the roof slope.

  Thanks for any suggestions.

  Regards,

  Dan

Hello @Anonymous

Did you try euther of the following?

  1. Roof: Roof Fascia
  2. Component: Model In-Place >> Sweep

If you have a specific profile you want to use; you can zip it and attach. I'll be more than glad to upload a screencast

      Regards,

Thank you, i went for the second option, Model in Place >> Sweep.

From there a corniche type sweep can be made. I am looking for something diferent, a reveal cut out in the thickness of the wall.

     Thanks, Dan

If I understood you right...Cutouts are implemented the same way using Model in Place Sweeps with different with an inverted Profile which you then switch to void then cut roof geometry with

Sorry, i tried but for no good

 - Option 1 : Sweep and Cut - i made a sweep with a solid profile, then attempted to cut it from the main wall but to no success.

 - Option 2 : Void sweep - gives me the message "Some Void Forms of this family do not cut anything and will be deleted. To make a Void Form cut something else use the Cut Geometry tool." and no use either.

   Thanks, Dan

I think you are right with option 2 but use the 'cut geometry tool' whilst still in the sweep (before you click the green tick)
